Creative Thinking :b

One thing I like about myself is that I am full with lots of great ideas and I am also very good at thinking on my feet. I love doing school projects, writing essays, and other forms of school work that I can be creative with and express all my ideas through something that is actually my own. I also love to express my ideas through decorating and planning activities, I always know what kind of things go good together when it comes to appearance and what will really catch people's eye. By being able to think on my feet as well, I always know what to do especially when things go wrong and when there is a quick back up plan in need. When in school and doing group presentations, I found that my quick thinking comes in handy especially when giving a presentation in Mr. Juarez's room. He always throws those complex thinking questions at your group that you would not imagine you even needed to think about. But because of my quick thinking I always ended up being the one person in the group that everyone else looked at when they did not know the answer to something and needed someone to kind of wing it. Over all though I have to say I'm grateful for having the gift of being creative and a quick thinker because most of the time in life it has brought many good things upon the people around me and myself as well. 

If Money Was No Object...

If money was no object and things did not have a cost, I would take in starving and less fortunate kids who deserved to have nice homes but do not have the parents to provide them. I have always wanted to be able to work with children, and I love to help children make their life better. I would choose to do this with my life because I have always had a positive influence over kids and have seen with my own eyes that when someone who is less fortunate receives help, it can make an enormous difference in their life. I can show these kids all the possibilities that life has for them and raise them to be strong, independent individuals. By helping them grow into these strong individuals, it would make me feel like I accomplished something good in my life, because I am the one who took these kids in and made them into who they are today. I would make an influence on society as well because not only am I doing these kids good, but I am also doing good for the society. By having more strong, successful children, they will make strong successful adults one day. 

Paraplegic

     If I could come up with my own creation, I would build a machine that would work with paraplegic people to help increase their strength. Not only would my machine be used in therapy sessions to bring back their strength, it would also be able to track each individuals muscle growth and progression over time. This machine would benefit people all over the world by giving them another chance in life because today in society when we think of someone with this kind of injury, we automatically think of them as a "vegetable". Just because they are paralyzed for the moment does not mean we should immediately lose all hope for them. This should be what we use as our encouragement to get out in the world and study, so we could figure out what we can do to help. By working with this machine we would be able to restore the abilities in people with this particular disability, giving them capability in life once again. 

One of My Hobbies :)

One of my favorite hobbies is painting people's nails. Whenever I  would go to the nail salon with my grandma, I would always pay close attention to the lady and the way she put the design on my nails. Soon I started trying to paint and design nails on my own. I was not good at first, and I am still not the best but I am pretty good. I love matching colors that go good together and then thinking of the perfect designs to go with each person and their personalities. With designing nails it is like you can always learn something new no matter how good you are, or get better at something you already knew how to do. Also, with designing nails to me it is like it never gets old either. I never find myself doing the same exact design, or the same exact colors. With every design done it always ends up different then when done the previous time leaving no real reptilian to get bored of. Designing nails is something different which is one of the main reasons I like it so much.

Something I Would Change

Something that I would change in my life would be when I decided to start playing basketball. If I could go back, I would have faced my fears of trying the sport immediately. I would not of waited until my 7th grade year, instead I would of looked for some church or organization near by and started early. After playing these last couple of years I realized how much I love playing basketball. At first when I would have a game, I would be so nervous, and now I'm so excited for my game I cannot stand having to wait until after school to play. I am so used to playing now, I do not even acknowledge that there is a crowd, or people on the stands. All. I can focus on is being in the game and doing what I do best. Looking back how I realize if I would of started playing earlier, I would have more practice and would most likely be a better player. Being a better player now would of benefited all my different teams. I could of practiced better, and in the end helped my team mates out even more. Even though this is something I would change I obviously cannot now, so all I can do is practice hard and be the best I can be.

Family and Friendship

One thing I value most is family and friendship. I have learned over time that not everybody in my life is going to stick by my side, and that when there is someone in my life that does stick by my side they are a keeper! Most of the time when things get rough, or when that person meets someone new, they all of the sudden disappear. When these people walk out, sometimes I learn it is for the better. Who really wants a bunch of fake people in their life anyway? Even though it is probably for the best, it does not mean it is easy. I have had to figure out the hard way that not only in friendships, but also in relationships, that just because someones feelings are set in a certain place does not mean the other person's are too. I think at this stage in our lives we are starting to see people for who they really are, and we are realizing that maybe we are better without them. In the end I have learned people will walk in and out of our lives no matter what, but family is forever and I would not trade mine for the world. 

Our Trip to the Fair :)

     Towards the end of this summer I went to the Lorain County Fair with my boyfriend and his family. When we first arrived we had to wait for the hayride to come get us because we're parked far from the entrance. We finally got in, and we started to walk around looking at what there was to do. I immediately wanted to go look at all the animals, but my boyfriend on the other hadn did not. He hates how bad they smell, and he did not really want to even go near them. I finally was able to convince him to go in the barns with me, but I told him he could not act stingy and make it boring. After we looked at all the animals, we then decided to walk around and play some games. While my boyfriend was playing this baseball game, he almost won $100. He was so irritated that he lost so we left the game's section, and we went to find something to eat. There was so many choices, so we just decided to eat these waffle things. They tasted good, but they had a weird texture. By the time we left I was happy I had a good time, and I decided we should go back next year.

"Adrianna"

The night I was born who knew who I would grow up to be, but for some unknown reason this is the name my mother gave to me. 
I often ask myself " how come ", for I was left with no one to pattern myself from.
With a Latin beginning, it's popularity in Italy still seems to be winning.
Chosen over my now middle name Josephine, I know now that my name was mean't to be. 
The name Adrianna accompanied with character but no weakness, just helps me emphasize my uniqueness.
A meaning of beauty so exotic and rich, my name is used to describe Adria a place that no longer can be enriched.
Adrian being the male version of my name, I'm starting to wonder if the characteristics would be the same.
After researching I realized no matter the spelling; Adrionna, Adriaunna, Adriana, my name is one of a kind, and nothing suits me better then what my parents made mine.

Life Rule

One of my life's most important rules is to only worry about what is in your control. Many times society is found stressing over issues that are far from their reach, that we simply can not do anything about. There is more responsibilities we should stress ourselves over such as paying bills, having a proper education, and making a good living for ourselves and our families. Other situations people all across the world struggle over is natural disaster. When natural disasters occur such as hurricanes or earthquakes, everyone is stuck in shock and depression that they can not move forward. We have to send supplies and rescuers to help recover and pick the people effected back up on their feet. Another issues that this world stresses over is when people are diagnosed with diseases and cancers. Yes these events are sad and upsetting but they are out of our control. We can not spend time stressing over them when we could be out there working to somewhat prevent them or at least to make them not as bad.
