Towards the end of this summer I went to the Lorain County Fair with my boyfriend and his family. When we first arrived we had to wait for the hayride to come get us because we're parked far from the entrance. We finally got in, and we started to walk around looking at what there was to do. I immediately wanted to go look at all the animals, but my boyfriend on the other hadn did not. He hates how bad they smell, and he did not really want to even go near them. I finally was able to convince him to go in the barns with me, but I told him he could not act stingy and make it boring. After we looked at all the animals, we then decided to walk around and play some games. While my boyfriend was playing this baseball game, he almost won $100. He was so irritated that he lost so we left the game's section, and we went to find something to eat. There was so many choices, so we just decided to eat these waffle things. They tasted good, but they had a weird texture. By the time we left I was happy I had a good time, and I decided we should go back next year.

ReplyDeleteIt is cool to hear that you had a great time at the fair. We were not able to make it out there this year. I am a sucker for small fairs and festivals.
We will work on fluency and style. Ex: "While my boyfriend was playing this baseball game, he almost won $100. He was so irritated that he lost so we left the game's section, and we went to find something to eat" makes it seem like he did win the money or at least some of the money.
