Rejection

A situation in which an individual might feel rejected is when they are trying to ask a teacher a question in class but other students keep talking over them. This can make the person feel rejected because it might seem as if they are not important enough to be listened to and get their concern across respectively without being interrupted. I know personally how it feels to be in that situation because I struggle in math class, but I am not the only one. When everyone is struggling they all want to get clarification on what they do not understand, but this can become hard in the classroom setting. When a person is struggling  in a subject this can make the situation seem bigger then it really is. By being talked over, this can leave the student feeling frustrated, angry, and overall rejected. This feeling of rejection can come because they might feel as if the teacher does not notice them in the classroom, or not notice them enough to dedicate one on one time to them.
